I have a bit of a hard time accepting that any song lyrics could be considered an admission of the 'facts' in the lyrics. It's all art, it's all for effect, however much it might be inspired by personal experience.

Did Tom Jones, or the lyricist Barry Mason, actually murder a woman named Delilah?

I suppose if the lyrics led to the discovery of hard evidence, as a confession might lead to the discovery of a weapon used in a crime, then they might be admissible as showing knowledge of and thus association with the crime.

But just bragging of drug-based riches, or losses, is all puffery.
