The judge’s ruling seems absurd to me. For example, if a 30 year old guy meets an underage girl on a public sidewalk, grooms her, and eventually assaults her, does that mean the girl can sue the city for the existence of the public sidewalk? Let’s say the 30 year old guy meets an underage girl in a shopping mall and the guy grooms her and eventually assaults her, can the girl sue the owner of the shopping mall? Omegle is just a way for strangers to meet, the same way strangers can meet on a public sidewalk or in a shopping mall.
