You’re correct. One of Sen. Hawley’s bills actually proposed to create statutory damages for account terminations, a mechanism that would surely destroy many UGC sites. #VOTE

Of course, LinkedIn can easily afford it, but it’s problematic that such absurd attacks can be launched against practically any company in the USA that hosts user-generated content, including small companies that can’t so easily afford to defend themselves.
