United States' whole moral copy[rite] regime, 17 U.S.C. §106A, was ruled to not apply "online" in any way in Dkt. #267 on 06/07/2011, or not quite five years ago as well.

Google Inc spent about half-a-million in legal fees to convince a morally senile Lord Most Honourable Jimm Larry Hendren of GOOG being entitled to the exceptions for, "electronic information service, electronic publication, or similar publication", though none of these clearly existing as "online" in 1990.

GOOG spent a great deal to invalidate the 1990 Visual Artists Rights Act for online but considers one of Lord Most Honourable Jimm Larry Hendren's last human right invalidating rulings clear fiat harming GOOG's interests in Garcia v Google before a jury of justices.

It will be interesting to see how far common moral ethics for humans lie outside the minimum ethical standards lawyers are required to have.
