Timothy McCormack discussions topics at ELI include Mr. McCormacks firms involvement in sending out monetary demands for Getty Images, generally as part of Getty Images “escalation” process. That comments on that thread are highly critical of Mr. McCormack; certainly one could view them as unkind at least. Worse: Searches for Timothy B. McCormack show Extortion Letter Information’s forum near the top of search results. The images search returns an comical image showing Mr. McCormack wearing a baseball cap adorning a copy of “Copyright for Dummies”

It’s quite clear that sites critical of Mr. McCormack enjoy sufficiently good SEO to ensure those goggling him can easily discover this highly critical content.

As for other behaviors: Tim McCormack has submitted cease and desist complaints to at least one anti-copyright troll blog ( http://copyright-trolls.com/site/attorney-timothy-b-mccormack-sends-cease-and-desist-over-a-cease-and-desist/ ). The owner of copyright-trolls.com lives in Florida and drove up so he could sit in the audience during GA Supreme Court oral arguments.

If I understand Mr. McCormack article correctly, he appears to believe that “bullying” material does not enjoy copyright protection at all. Also when discussing his copyright theories related to “bullying” McCormack uses a blurred out images of Mr. Chan’s websites banner showing his rather personal animosity toward Mr. Chan and that site.
