Bleg: Help Us Prepare For the Blog’s 10 Year Blogiversary

This blog launched on February 8, 2005, meaning that our 10th anniversary is just a couple of months away. Where did the time go??? With our big milestone looming, we’re cooking up some special features to help celebrate in style. It should be a lot of fun.

This is where you come in. Normally, we do all the talking on the blog. Now it’s your turn. We’d appreciate your thoughts about one or more of the following questions:

1) Tell us an anecdote about how the blog has made a difference to your practice, positively or negatively. For example, maybe we blogged one of your cases in a favorable or unfavorable light; or maybe the blog helped you find some useful material to advance your work. Please don’t provide any confidential/privileged information! But we’d love to hear how the blog has had an impact on its readers.

2) What do you think is the most significant change to the blogosphere since 2005?

3) What do you think is the most significant change in intellectual property law or Internet law over the past 10 years? This could be either substantive changes to the law or changes in how lawyers practice in these areas.

Your remarks don’t need to be long–even a single sentence would be great. If you’re game to participate, please send me an email (egoldman@gmail.com). It would be helpful if you put the word “Blogiversary” in the subject line so that I won’t delete your email by accident. We’ll happily respect requests for non-attribution of your remarks, but we’ll assume it’s OK to attribute your comments unless you specify otherwise.

As you know, we don’t often ask for “favors” from you as a reader. The fact you give us your time and attention is already more than we could ask for. But if you could help us out with this bleg, it would mean so much to us. Don’t wait! Thanks for considering it.
