ACLU Considering Challenge to Utah Anti-Internet Porn Law
The ACLU of Utah is considering a constitutional challenge against Utah’s most-recent anti-Internet porn law. Despite Rep. Dougall’s defensiveness, this law is almost certainly unconstitutional, and I’m confident that it will be struck down when scrutinized by the courts. We should be thankful to the ACLU for taking the initiative to clean out this legislative stinker. (I’ve been a member of the ACLU for nearly 2 decades precisely because I support initiatives like this).Posted by Eric at April 6, 2005 11:17 AM | Content Regulation , Derivative Liability
